A Literary Newborn Session with Baby Emma

There’s something magical about photographing milestones for couples I’ve worked with before, and this newborn session for Emma was no exception. As a former bride and groom, this couple holds a special place in my heart, and it was an honor to capture the next chapter of their story.

Emma, their sweet newborn daughter, was an absolute dream to photograph—calm, curious, and already stealing hearts. She was the perfect baby model, contently nestled among cozy blankets. To add to the charm, the family cat made a special guest appearance, creating the sweetest furry family portraits.

The session had a sentimental touch, nodding to the couple’s wedding. Their big day was filled with literary references, so it was only fitting that they incorporated a copy of Jane Austen’s Emma into the shoot. Seeing their love for books carried into this new stage of life was heartwarming.
