Boho Lakeside Maternity Session – A Dreamy Day by the Water

There’s something magical about a lakeside setting, especially when it’s paired with a boho-inspired maternity session. Recently, I had the honor of capturing a former bride and gorgeous mom-to-be in a serene lakeside environment, surrounded by tall grasses, soft sunlight, and the gentle ripples of the water. Our session took place in the golden hour just before sunset, casting a warm glow over everything and adding a romantic, dreamy quality to each shot.

We wanted this shoot to reflect the free-spirited nature of motherhood, allowing her to move naturally by the water and embrace the beauty of this precious moment. With a mix of close-up portraits and sweeping, wide-angle shots that captured the full scenery, the final collection of images feels like a true celebration of her journey into motherhood. I cannot wait to photograph her again when her baby is born!
